About Kyle Robinson

As former senior vice president of commercial and business banking segments at Bank of America Merchant Services in Atlanta, Holly Springs, Georgia, resident Kyle Robinson oversaw a multifaceted provider of payment processing and turnkey commerce solutions, reaching businesses across the country. Part of the Bank of America/First Data Corporation joint venture since its formation in 2009, Mr. Robinson has helped BoA Merchant Services meet the needs of the company’s top clients, with key partnerships in retail, energy, finance, insurance, travel, government and other sectors. At the helm of Merchant Services’ highest-performing sales and business development teams, Mr. Robinson ensured the maximum standard of support for corporate partners, from credit card and check processing services to customer loyalty rewards programs. He undertook his responsibilities following a successful period as vice president of large corporate sales and business development, during which time he orchestrated a 300 percent increase to the sales pipeline, helped acquire a series of major national accounts, and proved integral to the leadership and development of BoA Merchant Services.

Prior to BoA Merchant Services, Kyle Robinson spent a year as a national account executive and sales leader at First Data Corporation in Atlanta. He came to First Data from Atlanta’s Chase Paymentech, where between 2006 and 2008 he served as senior vice president of national sales and business development. While there, Mr. Robinson positioned his sales team as one of the top-producing segments in the company, with sales quotas in excess of 200 percent and $10 billion in annual revenues.

Previous roles include vice president of merchant services at Bank of America in Tampa, in which capacity he was the number one sales representative in the U.S., six years in a row. As a further testament to his achievements, Mr. Robinson won BoA’s highest honor, the Spirit Award of Excellence, on three separate occasions. He also earned several Sales Leadership Awards and Spirit Awards for Outstanding Client Service during his earlier tenure at BoA.

Educated at the University of Tulsa College of Law and Tennessee’s Southern University, Mr. Robinson holds a BA in communications from the latter school. More information on his career is available at:
